About Martin Piekar

Born in Germany 1990 to polish parents, Martin Piekar grew up with two tongues and with two cultural consciousness.
He studied philosophy and history, works as a teacher and writes poetry that is as personal as political. He writes about everyday life with an kaleidoscope of intimacy, he mixes alternative culture and slang with philosophical perspectives on life.
- My writing ist the result of the world that moves me and how it moves me. I may write about my relationship to stars, to porn or to political agendas that endager all our human being(s). -
He lives in Frankfurt am Main, Germany and has published several books of poetry in the publishers house: Verlagshaus Berlin.
